The Premium 9 replacement mattress is a superior alternating pressure mattress that offers maximum patient comfort and a surface that promotes the healing of pressure wounds and prevents their formation. The digital control unit offers eight pressure settings for maximum therapeutic benefit and patient comfort, an audible and visible alarm, and a timer.
The 1 in3 cell cycle reduces the patient’s sensation of movement while offering a lower support pressure and increased clearance between the cells as they inflate and deflate. The cells at the head are static to reduce sleep disturbance and this feature, along with the internal permanent side bolsters aids patient stability and safety.
The heel zone of the mattress can be controlled independently for patients with vulnerable lower leg and heel areas. The hinged base allows continuous pressure therapy for the seated patient. Emergency deflation can be rapidly achieved with the quick-release D-handle control unit connection, or with the easily accessible and highly visible CPR tag.
Friction and sheer are reduced by the waterproof multi stretch top cover fabric which is vapour-permeable, and the welded seams and full-length waterfall skirt maximise infection control.
