Performance Design Features Value I have always had Nokia so with excellent results so was very excited on getting my bright shiny N97 Mini. What a disapointment. The first one "totally died" within a week. The second has been back to Nokia twice for the same problem, namely locking up and periodic memory full messages. The only solution being to remove the battery for a few minutes and then restart. If one is lucky it may work but that can take up to 5 minutes to boot properly. Can't get any sense out of Ovi Suite and PC Suite will not allow transfer of text messages to the PC. Downloads take forever and as for internet connection, that remains a mystery. How Nokia have the nerve to put this heap of junk on the market bafles me. Think I will try an iPhone or a Samsung if I can get the retailer to take this "thing" back. (Posted on 10/08/10)

Final nail in the coffin for Nokia...don't even bother Review by Liz
Features Value Performance Design I had great expectations for the N97 Mini. I love Nokia, have always bought Nokia and purposely saved for months for this Nokia but what a disappointment!! Once past the initial nice look and feel of the handset and keyboard slider I discovered the rubbish behind the system. The current version of the software provided does not work with this handset (Ovi Suite) (confirmed direct from Nokia on line help), messed up my computer settings completely in the process and ended up removing part of the handset components so now nothing works properly in media or photographs. Connection to the web is slow and clumsy to navigate and synchronisation capabilities nil (one of my main reasons for purchase). I am very disappointed and will never buy Nokia again. A $600 phone (Next G version) is a $50 piece of rubbish no better than the base line options available. Don't waste your time - buy an Iphone or an HTC.
P.S. Purchase process via MOBICITY was BRILLIANT - please don't confuse my bad rap on this Nokia phone with their exceptional service. (Posted on 4/07/10)
