ive been using defy for a while and all i can say is its a pretty awesome phone. It doesn't have that much internal memory though which can cause issues, but it is easy to transfer aps to the sd card. the phone has manage so far to put up with my clumsiness, only got around 3 scratches on the screen so far. Good coverage. Got andriod 2.2.2 recently. overall awesome phone. (Posted on 10/06/11)

After going down the i-Phone 4 route for a few weeks, I was disappointed with the coverage in rural areas (rubber buffer used). Telstra dealer suggested the Defy, and it is great, as good as LG TU550 which was exceptional.
After using Win mobile for years, it took a while to get used to Android, but with all the apps (inc free spoken sat nav) available, and few of the freezes you got with WinMo devices, I can't see myself using anything else. Good size, great screen and tough as nails.
Only issue is that calendar widget doesn't update until late into following morning, but hoping Android 2.2 upgrade (due soon) will fix that. (Posted on 26/03/11)

This is my first smart phone and I absolutely love it. It has a really responsive interface, and love the fact that I don't have to worry about putting it in a case, or keeping it out of the rain. Mine didn't come with MOTOBLUR which was a plus. Definitely recommend this phone. (Posted on 8/03/11)

After going to the Telstra shop to look at N8s, iPhones, HTCs, the last one shown was this. Good for a bit of rough and tumble, removable battery (rub N8 off the list), this was the one, owned a Motorola years ago, but wow, definitely love this one. Growing to love android and the gmail integration, contacts couldn't be handled easier, pics with GPS tags, fast web hookup, not much here to not love. No complaints. (Posted on 8/12/10)
