Excellent new product, not over hyped, it is the real deal. Review by Broderishnikov
Performance Design Features Value This is the best value for money smart phone on the market, AND its not 'dead end' product application and customisation wise (no I don't hate Apple, but they are expensive for what you get and the marketing is overtaking the performance).
Takes a little getting used to to stop you accidently re-ringing people, but this is a phone, not a computer with phone functions as with some others. (Posted on 23/08/11) -
Wow! Review by John X
Design Features Value Performance What can i say, great phone. Coming from the Nokia 5800, u cannot even compare. The screen is absolutely stunning! Perfect devide right from the word go. As soon as i put the sim card in it set everything up for me, and it was so easy to get it running. Thanks MobiCity. (Posted on 3/06/11)

Good phone, reasonable for the price Review by FrankieBoy
Design Features Value Performance I got this phone because my iPhone 3GS gave up the ghost and I couldn't wait for the Sensation and don't like the look of the Samsung (which is a more highly spec'd but much more pricey phone).
The phone is very nice, the screen is bright and good, it is very responsive and HTC Sense is quite good. I like the 'feel' of the back even though it gets dirty quickly. There is plenty of memory so far for me, both onboard and on the included 16G card.
The negatives I see is that the sound quality on the media player could be better (it is "ok" but nothing extraordinary, bit distorted at higher volumes - my wife tried it and said her old SE Walkman phone was much better quality if that's any indication, even with her noise cancelling headphones).
The adjustment process on moving from iPhone to Android is a learning experience and I do miss some of the 'refinements' from Apple. However, the customisation and extra features on the HTC are worth any pain from getting used to something new. This phone is much snappier in performance than the iPhone (3GS anyway). Reception is a bit, not a lot, better (I'm with Vodafone though so take that comment with a grain of salt). The built in Google navigation is excellent - once the phone locks into the GPS (1-2 mins usually), the performance is fantastic. Transferring music to your phone by clicking and dragging it to the SD card is a godsend! The notification system is really good. Widgets are fantastic. Customisation options never end, although strangely some obvious ones are missing (e.g. what shows in the 'Quick Settings' pull down menu, the way emails are displayed, etc - although there are apps to deal with most of this).
Most of the apps I loved on the iPhone are available also on Android, with a couple of exceptions (e.g. ABC is crap, can't find an internet radio player that matches TuneMark on iPhone, Pocket Weather has a bit of enhancement to go). But then again you can install Swype on this phone and it works a charm!
All good though, this phone is recommended for those that don't want to fork out too much for a phone (although $500+ is not to be sneezed at). I've also worked with the Nexus One and HTC Legend and this is obviously a cut above.
